    Thesen sind – minunter gewagte – Aussagen über die Zukunft. Es ist ein Blick in die Zukunft auf Basis von Erfahrung und Kennitnis. Dabei ist überhaupt nicht ausgemacht, ob sie wirklich zutreffen.

    Man möge mich jedoch daran messen.

    Meine Social Media Thesen für das Jahr 2015

    1. Social Media wird das präferierte Instrument für die Unternehmenskommunikation.

    2. Wer den kommunikativen Paradigmenwechsel durch Social Media nicht erkennt, kann sich an der digitalen Wertschöpfung nicht beteiligen.

    3. Arbeitgebermarken, die auf Employer Branding via Social Media verzichten, werden den Anschluss verlieren.

    4. Apple bzw. Mac OSX/iOS werden zu Produktionsstandard (siehe auch hier und hier) für Social Media Manager.

    4. Unternehmen, die Mac OSX nicht für Social Media nutzen, haben selbiges nicht verstanden und gewinnen keine Top Social Media Manager.

    5. Zukünftig werden mehr Menschen via Social Media erreicht als über klassisches TV.

    2. People spend 700 billion minutes per month on Facebook
    3. Each Facebook user spends on average 15 hours and 33 minutes a month on the site
    4. More than 250 million people access Facebook through their mobile devices
    5. More than 2.5 million websites have integrated with Facebook
    6. 30 billion pieces of content is shared on Facebook each month
    7. 300,000 users helped translate Facebook into 70 languages
    8. People on Facebook install 20 million “Apps” every day

    Many Companies forbid use of social media at work, but recent research shows that web surfing leads to increased productivity.

    This infographic below explores the benefits of social media in the workplace, showing that social connections make people happier and a brief recess involving Internet-browsing increases productivity.

    The study concludes that taking a break, particularly one spent browsing the Internet, should be encouraged by employers hoping to increase productivity.
